Beatme is a website about music. It has many functions such as search engine, top ten music, web playlist, mobile playlist, top ten score, and music upload on channel. 

First of all is search engine. With search engine, user or member can searches by title, artist, album, and mood of the song at the same time with Beatme website. Next is top ten music. The song that that can be the top ten music, must be the most top ten like and share from the visitors and members of Beatme. The top ten songs and another songs in Beatme, visitors and members can play, download, share like, and comment also. Third is recommended songs, web and mobile play list. To be the member of Beame, he or she can has his or her own web and mobile play list. Web playlist for the user who use computer to access the Beatme and mobile playlist for the user who use mobile phone. Moreover, the member is commended for songs from Beatme website, which makes the members easy for his or her favorite songs. Then top ten score. It is one of the attraction from the Beatme. It means that member can make custom device game, gadged game, a game online (without a device), and handicap games, that why beat has top ten score. Fifth is channel. The special of the channel is members can create his or her own channel, uses custom device to create music, record the music, use gadged application to create music, create room play, invite another member to play the music together, play partiture, generate music, and can upload to the channel.

Some people want to listen the music that they want, sometime they just only know about the title of music, the name of artist, the name of album or maybe just want to listen the music that have some mood. So they need an application that can give them the music that they want.

Description of System

One of the most importance parts in Beatme website are search engine and top ten songs with like dislike share and comment on the song too. With search engine, members and user can search by title, artist, album and mood of song. If members or users want to search song by title, the result will list the song titles that he or she have search. If the members or user search by artist, mood, and album of any song, the result will list artist, mood, and album of songs first. After that members or users can clicks artist, mood, and album to see the songs. For about top ten songs, it is showed as home page, when users go to Beatme. The songs that can be listed as a top ten songs, it must be most top ten liked and shared from the member of Beatme website. For songs on Beatme website, Member can like dislike share and comment on song.

3.1              System Design

 

This website is developed to allow visitors and members search song in their mind and search by title artist album and mood so on. And show Top 10 songs is the song that get the most like and share.

Processing:

-        Visitors and members could be able to search for songs from this website by title artist album and mood, default searching in this website is search by title. If they want to search by another type such as artist, they must select artist on the top of website and then insert keyword to search box and click on search button, the result of artist will show.

-       When visitors or members click on artist’s name it will show list of songs that have the same artist and then they can click on song title that they love to view detail and in this detail page too, for members they just allow to click on like, dislike, share button. They also allow to comment in the comment box. On the other hand, if visitor click on these buttons application will go to sign up page.

Testing

1)      First, when user go to the Beatme website Users will see the home page of Beatme website, and the view in this page are menu, text box search, user can search by title, artist, album, and mood.

2)      In home page the default search is search by title, but if users click on artist and another type such as album and mood, the search will change to search by artist or album or mood and then user can insert keyword to search box and click search button.

3)      Next, show search results:

a.    Search result by title

b.    Search result by artist

c.    Search result by album

d.    Search result by mood

When user click on mood name “happy” the list of songs that have the same the same mood “happy” will show as below:

And then when user click on song title it will show detail of song that user clicked

 4)  In song detail page user or visitor cannot click like dislike share button and comment on this song, to like dislike share button and comment on this song user or visitor must sign up as a member first.

5)   After member sign in he can click on like dislike share button and comment on song.

Member can click like dislike share button on a song just one times if member clicked more than one times, application will alert a message to member “ you already like or dislike or share this song already!”.
